I love food and photography. To combine the two
I decided to shoot all my meals for an entire
month. Good quality food is cheap and easy to find
here in Melbourne (Australia) so it was not hard to
put together some delicious images.

I hope you like them and please feel free to
add comments.

James Morgan > Day 1, Breakfast.

Poached eggs with pecorino, prosciutto, tomato and tomato relish on sour dough at a no name cafe Brunswick.
James Morgan > Day 1, Lunch.

Leftovers: Chickpea curry, potato and pea curry, Noah's salad and beef salad.
James Morgan > Day 1, Dinner.

Smoked rainbow trout with dill and rocket. Caught yesterday and smoked today by Pilks it was delicious.
James Morgan > Day 2, Brunch.

Monster ciabatta with roquefort papillion, prosciutto, tomato and avocado. Bloody delicious even if it looks a bit messy with avocado all over the tomato and cheese.

The cheese, prosciutto and ciabatta are all from The King & Godfree and the parsley is from the garden.
James Morgan > Day 2, Dinner.

Calamari salad at Tiamo. Tender, perfectly crunchy and not in the slightest bit oily. The best cala' I have had in ages.
James Morgan > Day 2, Desert.

Chilli chocolate choc top.
James Morgan > Day 3, Breakfast.

Muffin and a latte. This has been my breakfast for the last year. I like raspberry muffins although recently there seems to have been a raspberry famine and I have to settle for blueberry, apple or anything else. Today it was blueberry, life can be so cruel.
James Morgan > Day 3, Lunch.

Special beef and meatball Phở at Vina Bar Lygon St. Viet noodle soup with lovely rich stock, gelatinous beef and meatballs.

A tamed down version of the "special combination" you might find on Victoria St. At one of my fav Phở places (Pho Dzung Tan Dinh) you end up with something really special which includes tendon, tripe (probably from pork), congealed blood, rare beef and sausage.
James Morgan > Day 3, Dinner.

Dinner at home. Venison sausages from La Parisienne Pates, asparagus with crispy prosciutto, peas and mashed sweet potato.

Salad with baby cos, cherry Roma tomatoes and Meredith Dairy marinated goats cheese. All washed down with a 2005 Vasse Felix Cab Merlot.
James Morgan > Day 4, Breakfast.

Blueberry again. Looks like I am going to have to get up a lot earlier to get my hands on a raspberry.
James Morgan > Day 4, Lunch.

Tempura seafood with wasabi mayo and a serve of chive and meet (not sure which meat and don't care) dumplings at Nam Loong on Russell St in the city.

If you like dumplings you'll love this place. The home made dumplings are fantastic, they have tons of buns and the menu is full of heaps of unique dishes.
James Morgan > Day 4, Dinner.

Snags and fire, enough fancy stuff.
James Morgan > Day 5, Breakfast.

Another day another muffin. How many ways can you shoot a coffee and a muffin? I have no idea but I have to figure out about 30 of them... or get a different breaky... oh and yes it was a blueberry again.
James Morgan > Day 5, Lunch.

Dumplings from Camy's Shanghai Dumpling at Section 8.
James Morgan > Day 5, Dinner.

Medieval feast. Pork with prune sauce, rocket salad, risoni, toulouse sausage, roast eggplant, home grown tomato with basil and balsamic vinegar and steamed zucchini.
Day 4, Breakfast.

Blueberry again. Looks like I am going to have to get up a lot earlier to get my hands on a raspberry.
